Surface Transportation Program – Urban (STP-U) Funding for Regional Projects
Description: Proposal to expend $7,945,994 of the MPO's federal discretionary funds on a set of regional transportation projects, programs and planning in fiscal years 2011, 2012 and 2013.  STP-U funds are the MPO’s federal discretionary transportation funds, which the MPO programs for priorities as determined by the policy board.
Public Comment Period:March 5 until 5pm April 5, 2010
Public Hearing: March 11, 2010 at the Metropolitan Policy Committee Meeting

Urban Planning Work Program (UPWP)
Description: The FY2010/FY2011 UPWP describes the objectives, action items, and ongoing core activities of the MPO and the MPO’s partner agencies in carrying out regional transportation planning.  The MPO is nearing the mid-point of the two-year work program, and has developed a draft Mid-Biennium Review and Update document.  This document provides both an update on action items and products completed to date, and a draft proposed addendum, or set of amendments, to the adopted UPWP to guide the planning activities into and through the second year of the work program.
Public Comment Period: March 5 until 5pm April 5, 2010

The Metropolitan Policy Committee, the decision-making body for regional transportation issues, holds a public comment session at the start of each of their meetings.  The public are invited to appear during this time to address the body. The location, time and agenda for each meeting is published on this web site
